Privacy Policy

A clear explanation of the data Micolpe needs to work and the choices available to you.

1. Who processes your data?

Micolpe, the software publisher based in Morocco, is responsible for personal data processed to provide the website, Android and Windows applications and related services. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@micolpe.com.

2. Data we may collect

Profile and loft data

Name or loft name, contact and profile information you choose to provide, logo, settings and preferences.

Pigeon-fancying data

Information about pigeons, rings, parents, pedigrees, pairs, races, performance, photos, documents and other data you record or import.

Device and security data

Device type and name, technical identifier or fingerprint, platform, application version, login and synchronization dates, device authorization status and information needed to prevent unauthorized access.

Technical and support data

Activity logs, errors, crash reports, diagnostics, limited network information and support communications. We seek to limit these data to what is useful for diagnosing and securing the Service.

Activation data

We may retain the access type, status, start and end dates, available credits, provider order and customer identifiers, amount, currency and the email linked to the account. Micolpe does not receive or store your full payment card number.

3. Why do we use these data?

  • Create, confirm and secure your account;
  • provide Micolpe’s local and cloud features;
  • synchronize data between authorized devices;
  • manage trials, licensing, activations and AI Poster generations;
  • generate a poster from images and information you selected;
  • confirm existing access rights and provide support;
  • detect errors, prevent fraud and improve reliability;
  • meet legal, accounting and security obligations.

4. Legal bases

Depending on context and applicable law, we process data to perform our contract and provide Micolpe, comply with a legal obligation, pursue legitimate interests in security and Service improvement, or based on your consent where required. You may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing.

5. Local operation and synchronization

Micolpe keeps part of your data on your device to support offline work. When synchronization is used, relevant data are sent to the cloud infrastructure linked to your account. Local deletion may be propagated to other devices under the synchronization process.

6. Photos, pedigrees and AI features

When you choose to use scanning or Poster Studio, the images and instructions needed may be transferred to technical providers to perform the requested operation. They are not sent for AI generation without an action from you. Avoid including unnecessary personal data in submitted images and documents.

AI results may contain imperfections. Always review a generated poster or text before publishing, printing or using it commercially.

7. Providers and recipients

We do not sell personal data. They may be processed by providers solely to deliver the Service, including:

  • Data server for authentication, databases, cloud functions and storage;
  • Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports and diagnostics;
  • OpenAI or another configured AI provider for requested Poster Studio generations;
  • Polar for checkout, payment processing, taxes, receipts and fraud prevention;
  • Mail server for certain service emails.

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights or to investigate fraud or a security incident.

8. International transfers

Some providers may process data in other countries. Where applicable law requires, we rely on appropriate contractual safeguards or transfer mechanisms offered by these providers.

9. Retention

Account and service data are retained during the user relationship and then for a reasonable period needed to close the account, handle requests, maintain security and comply with legal duties. Logs and diagnostics are kept for a shorter period proportionate to their purpose.

Technical backups may temporarily keep a copy after deletion until they rotate out.

10. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures, including access controls, account-level data isolation, encrypted connections and device management. No system is completely secure. Protect your password, device and local exports.

11. Cookies and local website storage

The site may use local storage or cookies strictly needed for sign-in, security, preferences and account operation. We do not use advertising cookies to sell or share your profile.

12. Your rights

Depending on your country, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to certain processing or withdraw consent. You may also complain to the competent authority.

Send your request to contact@micolpe.com from the address linked to your account. We may reasonably verify your identity before acting.

13. Younger users

If your country’s law requires parental or guardian permission to use a digital service, you must obtain that permission. We do not knowingly seek to collect children’s data without required consent.

14. Changes

This Policy may change as Micolpe or regulations evolve. The update date appears at the top. Appropriate notice will be provided for material changes where required by law.
